I can't understand how the heck he can even keep his eyes on that thing. Also, considering how remarkably fast it is, I wouldn't want to be in its way if he were to lose control of that missile. And on that, it seemed he was awfully close to the spectators.
But yeah, you don't want to crash anything home-built. It's one thing to crash a foamie that can be glued overnight. But crash a wooden plane and it will suffer much worse damage. I am convinced that the wood planes do fly better though.
