Check out this website. It was recommended by Kim. I like this Phoenix sailplane. It launches with a model rocket motor. Unfortunately, I don't see any movies on this site, but I will check on You Tube. skykingrcproducts.com/rcplanes/bob_parks_kits.htmlNow this is an interesting alternative to a high-start. The high start has a fairly strong pull, so if it can handle that, I'm sure it can handle a rocket motor. How high would it go? that's the question. But it sure would be a BLAST to launch, wouldn't it? (Yes, pun is intended). I'm thinking of experimenting with my Gentle Lady. All I need is a reloadable rocket tube, and I can probably get that with a model rocket kit. They even come with their own parachutes! Interesting idea, Kim?

This one is more like mine. In fact, from the looks of it, it's even the same type of sailplane, a Gentle Lady. It's just been retrofitted for a rocket motor. Looks a little underpowered, but still, all I can say is OH MY GAWD.
You'd definitely want to keep a fire extinguisher on hand too. Look at the dry grass field he launched from. Almost looks like Gavilan Field.
