Always remember you fly an airplane with your head, not your hands. Never let an airplane take you somewhere your brain didn't get to 2 seconds earlier. Remember: Gravity never loses! The best you can hope for is a draw! Attachments:

In Chuck Yeager's case, that was certainly true, but Neil Armstrong defeated that rule.

Mitchell, (who I affectionately refer to as "B-25"),
You are turning out to be a good friend and I appreciate it. Since I've been in Taos, I've developed some good friendships. All of you guys in this "Air Corps", in fact as well.
But I wanted to take a moment to thank you for handing me your radio. It took me completely off guard, but it was exhilarating. You're right about flying with your head. That backwards thing got to me a little bit, but the altitude allowed me at least half a dozen errors to correct myself, and I know it won't be long before my synapses carve out a new path of learning and I get it straight.
I've got some beautiful built-up planes, but the only one I would trust with myself right now is my sailplane. Getting her up in the air is the only challenge, since it's old-school. I need to get myself an ARF foamy trainer. Something with some good hang-time. If you've got any suggestions, please toss them my way.
