I've got a question. Anyone who has discovered that plastic bumpers are NOT flexible in cold weather when contacting a curb will probably know what I'm talking about.
IS Monocote flexible in winter weather? Or does it tend to crack because it becomes brittle? See, I don't want to stop flying just because it's winter, but I'm wondering what the best material is for cold weather.
I would think tissue, like a nice strong silkspan, would be best because paper doesn't seem to me that it would get any more brittle in cold, versus warm weather. Problem with tissue is, you've got to keep it dry. Otherwise, exposure to wet will definitely wrinkle the skin.
I know, foamies are probably the best winter flyer. Their skin doesn't care about anything. But my question here is, how does Monocote hold up to the cold? Anyone know?
