Hey, check out my JN-4 Jenny. This is a 4 channel, with ailerons. It's all ready to go, but I'm worried it might be a little underpowered for Taos' altitude. It's a Pat Tritle kit, but I strengthened it in several places. When I built it, I used the kit's recommendations for powering, and then found out that was for lower altitude. So will it have enough power to fly up here? I don't know. but I'm not going to try it until I get a lot better at flying. Because this thing is probably rather fragile, especially with the darn Japanese tissue. Pick it up the wrong way and your finger will go right through it. Pay attention to the nose art, (which I hand-painted). You'll recognize it as what I used for my avatar too. Snoopy as the famous WW1 flying ace is probably my all-time favorite cartoon as a kid (followed closely by Bugs Bunny). Also check out the pilot. It's Woodstock, carved out of balsa with feathers for "hair".

What a beauty! Great job... I fly the Jenny in barnstorm mode in my simulator all the time. It is slow, but there's something cool about that. To think, in 1917 this was the equivalent of an F-22 Raptor... Here's the real deal... Curtiss Jenny Biplane - Engine Run-upCan't forget the Baron. Whoa! That is so cool...
