Is it just me, or did it seem that yesterday was a great flying day? It was the first day that I really seemed confident in my flying ability, and 4 flights went off without a hitch. I had the Easy Star trimmed perfectly. I actually put a little more weight in the nose, and didn't have a problem with porpoising like I did last time.
Sure it could use a stronger motor, but you know what? This is such a sweet-flying plane that I'll probably keep the Speed 400 in it. It'll make a great loaner trainer too. I can't believe how tough they are. Mark's took some frightful crashes and came back to fly again in less than a minute.
I really do appreciate the friendships I've made in this flying club, and you guys are on the way to a great club. I'll make sure to come back after the summer, to show off some new planes and my improvement.
Next big thing for me is to build the couple of wood planes that I have, and start flying them.

Guys, I won't be joining you this next weekend on the 25th. I have a 6 hour drive to make, down to Clovis, and then to Roswell from there. Plus packing and unpacking at both ends. I've got such a long day that I had better leave right after breakfast on Sunday.
I'll catch you again as soon as I am able. Hope you have another great day of flying.
