I bought a Pico Stick thinking it would be great for the boys but like the Slow Stick, it's too fragile. I broke the wing on the first day. The second day the motor failed and the people at M-A-E, whom I bought the kit from, would not stand behing the motor. A wire came off and they blamed me but the motor had already failed. Anywhom I went back to my faithful buddies at Stevens Aeromodel and they hooked me up with a cute little motor for which I had to make my own mount. The pictures tell the rest of the story. Looks nice.
You know, I bought a foamie cub from Banana Hobby and one of the servos suffered a catastrophic failure in flight, and when I couldn't control it, I handed it over to Kim, who couldn't control it either and it crashed, totalling it.
When I brought it up to Banana Hobby, they wouldn't stand behind it. Upon bench testing the servo, it would deflect full scale and not come back. So you can imagine why that plane crashed.
It might have been a good flyer, IF I swapped out the cheap Chinese electronics and installed better components from the outset. I think increasingly, it is a good idea to just plan on using your own electronics on ANY Chinese-made ARF.
